At YAN, we are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a high-quality AI artistic experience. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Images: When you upload a photo for analysis, the image is processed by our AI models (powered by Google Gemini API).

AI Metadata: We store the analysis results (scores, labels, and coordinates) to provide you with a history of your scans and to display photos in the Global Gallery if eligible.

Device Information: We collect basic device info (Model, OS version) and unique device identifiers to manage your free scan limits and ad rewards.

2. Image Retention Policy

Temporary Processing: For free/casual scans, images are stored temporarily for analysis and may be deleted after a set period.

Gallery Storage: Photos that are published to the Global Gallery (85+ score) will be stored on our secure servers (Firebase) until you choose to delete them.

No Training Use: We do not use your personal photos to train our AI models or third-party models without your explicit opt-in consent.

3. Third-Party Services

We use reputable third-party providers to power YAN:

• Google Gemini API: For image analysis and aesthetic scoring.
• Firebase (Google): For database storage, authentication, and hosting.
• Google AdMob: For serving incentivized advertisements. These providers have their own privacy policies regarding how they handle data.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption and Firebase Security Rules, to protect your images and analysis data from unauthorized access.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

1. Access the analysis data stored in your account.
2. Delete any photo you have uploaded to the Gallery.
3. Request the deletion of your entire account and associated data.

6. Children's Privacy

YAN is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
